Governor Bello Matawalle has led a powerful delegation to condole with the Emir of Gusau Alh Muhammad Bello over the death of Dan Lawan Na Gusau who doubled as the District Head of Gada Biyu.
The Governor who expressed sadness with the sudden death of the young monarch explained that, it has been long when he met with the late Dan Lawan but a day to his exit they met at the venue of closing of the annual Quranic Recitation Competition held in Gusau.
“It has been long I have not met with late Dan Lawan of Gusau but on the date of the closing of the National Quranic Recitation Competition he came and greeted me and also thanked me for his appointment as the District Head of Gada Biyu unknown to me that the interaction I had with him was the last in his life”.
He condoled with the Emir and indeed the family of Sambo Dan Ashafa and prayed for God almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdausi.
The Emir of Gusau in his response thanked the Governor and his entourage for the condolence visit and wished them well.
