Governor Bello Matawalle has met with the political gladiators from Gusau local government on Tuesday at the state government house, Gusau.
The objective of the meeting was to strategize on the 2023 election and also meet to mend fences and unite them to pursue a common political front which is the success of the APC.
The meeting avail the Governor with the opportunity to meet the politicians and discuss strategies aimed at ensuring that APC succeeded from poling units to wards and entire Gusau local government council.
He stressed the need to ensure unity of purpose and reaffirmed that there is no division between his group, that of former Governor Yari as well as Sen. Kabiru Garba Marafa.
He therefore urged all stakeholders from Gusau to continue to play politics in unity and also pursue a common objective of ensuring that APC succeeded in the forthcoming 2023 election.
The meeting was as well attended by the State APC Chairman Tukur Umar Danfulani, commissioners, Special Advisers as well as political office holders.
