National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN) has handed down a merit award to Thunder Blowers Multi Media Services for being one of the vibrant media platforms which provide enabling playing ground for the public to share their view on a wide range of issues affecting the public.
Also awarded alongside Thunder Blowers Multi Media Services was a business mogul, philanthropist and active politician in Zamfara State Dr. Dauda Lawan Dare for his tireless humanitarian assistant to poor and less privileged persons within and outside the state.
In his remarks, the Zamfara State Speaker of the Platform Isah Danmaliki said the forum have chosen some selected organizations and individuals for recognition in order to encourage them to do more in terms of humanitarian assistance and provision of social services to the people of the state.
The managing Editor of Thunder Blowers Multi Media Services who was also the guest speaker in the event Dr. Anas Sani Anka said, the citizens of Zamfara State have to come to accept the simple reality that Zamfara belongs to all and that all citizens of Zamfara have to come together and collectively takes ownership of the state problem and address them within a specific time frame.
Dr. Dauda Lawan Dare who spoke through his representative Ahmad Garba Yandi assured the organizers that he will continue to do more by improving the living standard of Zamfara people and also contribute meaningfully toward reducing poverty, creating job opportunities and also encouraging people to advance their education.
He noted that his foundation has been active and will continue to be alive in Zamfara hence it is working harder to supporting every initiative by the state or private sector which will help add value to the lives of Zamfara people.
Zamfara State Commissioner for Justice Barr. Nura Ibrahim Zarumi who was part of the panelists also called on the youth in Zamfara to remain active and engage the government, and it’s agencies in understanding reality about what is happening with the governance circle.
