A former APGA gubernatorial candidate in Zamfara Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi has declared that, he has joined All Progressive Congress to help Governor Bello Matawalle end corruption in the state.

Wamban Shinkafi who stated this during stakeholders meeting with his supporters in Gusau said he has not joined APC because he wants to own a house, a car or any other luxury thing.

He said, his State Chairman of APGA was part of the preparation earlier made for his defection to APC only for him to opt out of the arrangement and decided not to defect but noted that, his personal relationship with him and many other APGA stalwarts who decided not to defect with him would continue beyond the APC defection.

He called on the Governor Matawalle to carry all those who defected with him from APGA along and avoid listening to hypocrites who may likely misguide him, especially with the new political arrangements.

He pointed that some associates of the Governor have already started creating cracks that may jeopardize the new journey and urged Matawalle to remain steadfast and focus.

He added that his political ideologies do not allow for gossiping or hypocrisy, but maintained that he has done well politically to support many people including the children of the poor.

He called on the women and his teeming supporters to come out on Tuesday and join them in the formal defection of the Governor to the APC.
