INEC INSTRUCTED ME TO DROP RESULT I COLLATED & USE RESULT ON IREV DATA TO DECLARE 2023 ELECTION RESULT: MARADUN COLLATION OFFICER INFORMS TRIBUNAL.

The Maradun local government returning officer Dr. Ahmad Kainuwa has confirmed to the Governorship election petition tribunal that the duplicate of the result tendered by the petitioner in respect of the Maradun is the correct result he has collated from various ward collation officers in the local government.

He stated that, the duplicate is the original and authentic one but that he was asked to present another alternative result downloaded on the IREV portal.

He stated that, to the best of his knowledge and based on the result he officially collated APC scored (98, 546) and it was .

“This is the result I collated from the various collation officers of Maradun local government area, which is one of my primary assignments as an INEC ad-hoc staff and submitted the same to INEC and when it comes to presentation of result INEC invited me to the presentation room. INEC later on discovered that there are differences between my result and the one uploaded”.

“INEC instructed me to present the one that they downloaded from the INEC server, which they said is the authentic result”.

“I presented the one downloaded from the INEC server because since the time they collected the exhibit I have never sighted the document until now”.

When asked to read from the figures of scores by parties in the INEC alternative result sheet, he insisted that, he couldn’t read from the document he knew nothing about.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
