A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Zamfara Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu has proudly declared that the Matawalle faction of All Progressive Congress would regret conducting their planned ward congress on Saturday.

Zannan Bungudu who spoke exclusively to the Managing Editor of Thunder Blowers Multi Media Services on phone said what the Matawalle faction of the APC is planning to do on Saturday is a clear contempt of court, and they would pay for their deed.

Explaining the reasons why they refused to participate in what he described as “Kangaroo Congress” Zanna said they are only staying action from participating in the congress as a mark of respect for the statutory court order which instructed all parties to stay action.

“They should be reminded if their memory has gone skeptic that from the Governor down to state assembly members none of them won even his political ward during the 2019 general elections not to talk of winning election but same court they are disregarding paved the way for them to climb their respective political positions” Zanna added.

He further said, “if not for the court order even Governor Matawalle cannot go to his ward in Maradun for congress because people are aggrieved with the manner he manhandled the state, and they should surely prove to him that power is theirs”.

“As I speak to you Governor Matawalle has not implemented as low as (N 10,000,000) naira project in any of the fourteen local government areas of the state and people are carefully watching the Governor and for sure the payback time is coming” Zannan added.

Bungudu further stated that if they have no respect for the court they should proceed with the planned congress but definitely they would regret their action
