If one is not told about how people feel for humanity, the mind will keep wondering what the wealthy ones feel for the poor and less- privileged ones.
But as human nature continues to be dynamic In nature there are few among the many that believed that “an opportunity for one is an opportunity for many”. Or on the other hand, “there are those who believed that what God destined for them is for the benefit of humanity not their family and self-enrichment.
His model of support to humanity is a unique one because he personally picks the interest of assisting the orphans, widows, the elderly and less privileged persons.
For a year and above, Mr Gordon has been moving in between Gusau and Tsafe Zamfara State-Nigeria identifying Qur’anic schools and other places where vulnerable persons reside and support them with food stuffs that could last for a week and also provides some substances like detergents to the Qur’anic school pupils (Almajiri) and settle their other expensive bills on social and economic grounds.
“He reached out to an average of (1,000) vulnerable people including Islamic School pupils and provide for them food stuffs, clothing materials and settle their medical bills in the public and private hospitals” Said Aliyu Soja one of the top aides to the Philanthropist Mr. Gordon.
One interesting aspect of Mr. Gordon’s intervention is that he does not deal with the only vulnerable persons he knew, he moved round place to place and identify those he feels are important to be supported. He does not care whether the medical bill he is to settle for instance is as expensive as running into millions of Naira once he identified with the persons and realized that they need humanitarian support he offers the help unconditionally.
An Islamic school teacher Malam Aliyu Gusau said, the humanitarian feelings he saw in Mr, Gordon is never an imaginary one since he believed even among the rich people there are richest and for him Mr. Gordon is the most richest of them all since he opens the scope of his wealth for the poor and those that are supposed to benefit from the wealth without segregation to race, identity or religion.
“I have never seen a Chinese national that is so-human like Mr. Gordon. He put smiles to our faces, he moved hundreds of us from hunger and starvation and he makes sure that our health condition is improved through settlement of our medical bills and taking good care of us” said one of the Almajiri pupils interviewed in Gusau.
For Mr. Gordon he said, “ the initiative is a normal one because he believed what God offered to you in terms of wealth is what shall belong to the people”.
He added that “he always feels happy supporting life and humanity and promised that he will continue to expand the scope of his intervention to cover full scale scholarship for the orphans and children of the poor who shall be mapped from Primary to University humanity.
As at now over ten thousand poor and vulnerable set of people benefited from Mr, Gordon gesture tagged “SUPPORTING HUMANITY” and the plan for the 2023 will be widely enhanced to cover areas that are seen to be so delicate
but sensitive to humanity.
Zamfara people will look forward to see more of Mr. Gordon’s Philantrophic gesture in terms of service to humanity.
