The senior district head of Tsafe emirate council in Zamfara state Alh wadata Habibu Aliyu has been announced dead on Thursday.
Until his demise Wadata was second to the emir of Tsafe and a biological son to the immediate emir of the ancient town, late Habibu Aliyu.
He died as a result of brief illness, according to the family source.
His funeral prayer was conducted at Tsafe town on Thursday by 1:30pm and was well attended by hundreds of Muslim faithfuls including friends, relatives and well-wishers.
