The former Senator for Zamfara Central Kabiru Garba Marafa has described the noise about Muslim/Muslim ticket as the conspiracy of the political class.
Sen. Marafa who stated this during a media chart with the newsmen in Gusau the capital city of Zamfara on Saturday insisted that Nigerians should not be deceived by those politicians hiding under the Muslim/Muslim ticket campaign to create dislike for one another.
“If someone is flying through an airport, will he be asking about the religion of the pilot before he agreed to board into an airplane? When a patient went to the hospital searching for medical treatment, will be asked about the religious status of the doctor before he agreed for the doctor to treat him?”.
Sen. Marafa wondered why people are bothering themselves about APC having filled in Muslim/Muslim ticket, noting that those who have issue with the Muslim/Muslim ticket are still having the option of going for another political parties of their choice”.
He said Obasanajo and Good luck were Presidents of Nigeria before now and none of them had Christianized Nigeria, wondering why the noise about Tinubu/Shatima ticket this time around is becoming an issue among the Nigerian politicians.
He insisted that Nigerians should not bother themselves about those politicians who are using religion to try to instigate others about political party’s choice of their Presidential candidate and their running mates.
