Political Adviser to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Sadiya Umar Faruk who hails from Zamfara State Musa Zubairu Nasarawar Mailayi has resigned his appointment.
According to statement issued in Abuja Zubairu who was a chief of staff to Zamfara former Governor Mahmuda Shinkafi from 2007-2011 said his decision to resign his appointment is to enable him concentrate on his other personal engagements which required his attention.
He thanked the Minister for considering him worthy of appointment in that capacity, and also promised to continue to offer brotherly advice to the Minister when the need arises.
Zubairu has now formally joined forces with the former Governor of Zamfara Abdulazeez Yari Abubkar who is currently heading another faction of the APC in Zamfara.
