Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has promised to restore the telecommunication network across the state latest by Tuesday next week.
Speaking shortly after the state APC congress in Gusau on Saturday, Matawalle said there was significant progress recorded in the fight against banditry.
He also revealed that, weekly markets would be re-opened to allow businessmen and women to actively engage in various trades and business activities.
He charged people in the state to make the best use of the opportunity to improve their lawful businesses in the state.
Matawalle stressed that the closure of telecommunication and weekly markets was done sincerely to effectively fight the bandits.
“Our main target was to crush all forms of criminality, being it banditry or whatever, so we have adopted severe measures to succeed”, he added.
