A chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Zamfara Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi said the judgement against the Governor of Ebonyi State David Umahi is purely a black market judgement.
Wamban Shinkafi who stated this during a Press Conference in Gusau on Monday said the judgement is a clear case of “judicial rascality”.
Shinkafi further said, “Ebonyi judgement is nothing and the judge is trying to place something on nothing because he is too economical with the fact.
While decsribing the Ebonyi judgement as “black market one” the APC chieftain said, “some judges if they are about to retire and they needed money to buy some houses they give out all forms of judgements”.
He added that, “the judgement against David Umahi is a judicial rascality, black market judgement and a judgement secured from the back door”.
“When I look at the judgement I laughed because it is a clear case of miscarriage of Justice. There is no valuation of fact and for me there is a symbiotic relationship between the candidate and his party”.
Shinkafi said unless the constitution of Nigeria 1999 is amended Governor Umahi, Ayade and even Matawalle cannot be removed. They can only be removed if they are impeached, incapacitated or died in power.
Wamban Shinkafi stated that, the judge that delivered the Ebonyi judgement is too economical with the truth and the provisions of the Nigerian constitution.
He also expressed optimism that the judge will eventually be sacked since there are many petitions filed against him at the National Judicial Service Commission on allegations of judicial infraction and improprieties.
