The two suspended Zamfara lawmakers Hon Yusuf Muhammad Anka and Hon Ibrahim Tudu Tukur have resumed work at the state house of assembly on Wednesday after the expiration of the period of their suspension.
House spokesman Mustapha Jafaru Kaura who stated this in a statement on Wednesday said, Speaker Nasiru Muazu Magarya welcomed them back to the house and wish them well in their legislative engagements.
Jafaru said, Magarya announced the restoration of the leadership of their respective committees.
In a related development, Jafaru said, the house on Wednesday received the report of house standing committee on basic secondary and non-formal education on a bill to establish a state education trust fund.
“After careful deliberation of the report of the bill which was presented by Hon. Yusuf Alhassan Kanoma members approved all the (30) recommendations contained in it, members unanimously passed the bill into law”.
He added that the bill will be sent to the state Governor for assent to become a law.
