The All Progressives Congress APC in Zamfara state has set up an 11-man Committee to investigate allegations of anti-party by some active members of the party.
According to a statement by the Spokesperson of the party in Zamfara Mal. Yusuf Idris Gusau, the committee was inaugurated by the state party Chairman Tukur Umar Danfulani at the headquarters of the party in Gusau on Wednesday the 17th of May 2023.
Part of the terms and references of the committee is to thoroughly study the allegations made against some members of the party, as well as recommend measures to be instituted by the party.
The party chairman in the state, Tukur Umar Danfulani who disclosed that already, the state Secretariat of the party is in possession of copies of petitions against some members, said the committee should handle its assignment without fear or favor.
He also urged them to put the interest of the party at heart while carrying out the assignment and also pass their recommendations in accordance with the constitution of the party.
The chairman commended the doggedness of those who stood by the party and its candidates at the polls for their resilience despite the intimidation meted against them.
He assured that the party will reclaim the stolen mandate through legitimate means as steps are already instituted to that effect,
Danfulani also assured that the party will ensure justice to all its members at all time.
He charged the committee to dig more and get correct information from wards, local government and state levels to have accurate information that will guide the party.
In his response, the Chairman of the committee, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, thanked the party for finding the members capable of carrying the assignment, noting that his appointment as chairman indicated the trust the party has in him.

Other members of the committee included: Barr Ibrahim Aliyu Ajiya, Dr. Mikailu Ibrahim Bara’u, Hon Nura Dahiru, Dr. Aminu Suleiman Yarkofoji, Alh kabiru Dankulu Bungudu- Member, Hon. Faruku Musa Dosara, Alh Hamisu Habibu Kasuwar Daji, Barr. Junaidu Aminu, Hon. Anas Hamisu who is to serve as Assistant Secretary while Hon. Ibrahim Maaji is to work as committee Secretary.
