Zamfara State Police Commissioner Hussaini Rabiu said his men attached to tactical operation had on Saturday succeeded in rescuing two abducted students of FGC Birnin Yauri at a nearby bush of Babbar Doka village of Dansadau district of Zamfara State.
The Police Commissioner while addressing a press conference gave the names of the abducted students as Maryam Abdulkarim a 15-year-old girl from Wushishi and Faruk Buhari a 17 years old boy from Wara in Kebbi State.
Hussaini Rabiu Said the students have been taken to the hospital for medical examination, and they were debriefed at the police headquarters in Gusau.
He further said, the victims would be handed over to Kebbi State Government through the state police commissioner.
