Members of Zamfara State House of Assembly had confirmed the renewal of the appointment of the (14) local government council sole administrators during it’s plenary on Thursday.
According to the house spokesperson Nasiru Usman Biyabiki, the House Leader Hon. Faruk Dosara who presented the motion urged his colleagues to accept the re-nomination of the candidates for another tenure of six months.
Nasiru Biyabiki said the confirmation will be with effect from Friday 14th October 2022 noting that member representing Anka Hon. Yusuf Muhammad seconded the motion which was unanimously agreed.
Affirming the motion, Speaker Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya said, the request on behalf of the nominees and their subsequent confirmation is in line with the provision of section(s) 16(1), (17) and (18) of the Zamfara State Local Government Councils’ establishment (repeal and re-enactment) Law, 2021.
Speaker Nasiru Magarya on behalf of the members of the state house of assembly called on the confirmed sole administrators to continue to support the policies and programs of the Matawalle administration.
Those confirmed include, Ahmad Balarabe for Anka, Dr. Aminu Suleman Bakura, Kabiru Ladan B/Magaji and Bashiru Mu’awuya forBukkuyum Local Government areas respectively.
Others include, Moh’d Sadiq Maiturare Bungudu, Abubakar Shehu Gummi, Sanusi Muhammad Gusau and Nasiru Altine for K/Namoda Local Government.
The state house of assembly also confirmed the appointment of Ummaru Muázu for Maradun, Salisu Isah for Maru, Abdurrahman Bala Shinkafi, Aminu Mudi Tsafe Local Government, Dahiru Maiyara T/Mafara Local Government and Dr. Auwal Bawa Zurmi Local Government.
