ZMSG DISTRIBUTES OVER 7,000 BED LINENS TO GENERAL HOSPITALS

Zamfara state government has procured and distributed over 7,560 bed linens to all the General Hospitals across the state.

Mustapha Muhammad Anka who is the Executive Chairman of the State Hospital Management Board stated that the package consist of 2,280 pieces of bedsheets, 1,980 blankets and 3,300 pillows respectively.

While commending the effort of the state government led by Governor Bello Matawalle for according priority to the development of the health sector, he warned Medical Directors to ensure that the facilities are judiciously utilized for the purpose, they were procured for.

He stated further that the administration of Bello Matawalle since inception has been according priority to the development of both health infrastructures and development of human resource for health.

He tasked all the stakeholders to be committed in monitoring facilities provided to their respective communities so that they can last longer

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
