Zamfara State Police Commissioner Mr. Yusuf Kolo has paid a familiarization visit to the state Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs DIG Mamman Tsafe rtd.
According to the police spokesperson SP Shehu Muhammad the visit was informed by the commitment of the new Police Commissioner to reaching out to critical stakeholders in the area of security and solicit for their support and cooperation in his bid to cleaning away the state from the acts of criminalties.
Shehu said, CP Kolo who was warmly received by the Commissioner for Security expressed happiness with what they have discussed and assured him of the commitment of the Nigerian police force to ensure maximum productivity in the restoration of lasting peace.
DIG Mamman Tsafe in a response thanked the new Police Commissioner for the visit and assured him of the commitment of the state government led by Bello Matawalle in supporting the police and other security agencies.
The CP also paid a similar visit to the Comptroller of the Nigerian Immigration Service at their headquarters based in Gusau the Zamfara state capital.
The duo discussed extensively the way to go about managing the security challenges faced by the state and promised to work collectively toward addressing the security problem faced by the state.
