2 BILLION NAIRA COMPENSATION, I AM HEADING TO EFCC WITH FRESH ALLEGATION AGAINST FMR. COMMISSIONER MUTTAKA RINI

The former gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA Alh Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi has reacted to the call for apology and demand for 2 billion naira damage placed on him by two former Commissioners in Zamfara State and two others over what they termed as fictious petition by Shinkafi against their personalities.



Mr Shinkafi who reacted via an exclusive telephone nterview with Thunder Blowers Online News Medium, explained that, the calls made by the two commissioner and two others is an empty threat hence they are yet to clear themselves off the allegation labelled against them on mismanagement of public resources at the EFCC.


“As a citizen of Nigeria, the constitution has conferred on me the right to petition anybody that in my own views commited financial crimes before any anti graft agency for investigation and unless the accused are able to clear themselves before the EFCC their threat on my personality is an empty one” Shinkafi added.


He went specific to explained to thunder blowers that, he is writing fresh petition against Hon. Muhammad Muttaka Rini on allegation of awarding un-executed and inflated contract to the tune of 65 billion naira in the name of construction of  local government roads when he was the state Commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs as well as another contract involving alliance company on electrification worth over 45 billion naira .


He further informed Thunder Blowers Online that, he is accusing same former  Commissioner Muttaka Rini of awarding an inflated contract for borehole where each unit cost the state worth over 350 million naira.


“I will not be intimidated by an empty threat and if the accused are claiming to be innocent let them wait for the EFCC to clear them from the allegations labelled against them” Mr Shinkafi added.


Thunder Blowers contacted former Commissioner Muhammad Muttaka Rini, to hear his own version of the story on the fresh allegations raised by Shinkafi but as at 11:54pm on Monday all his (3) telephone lines were switched off and his colleague Mukhtar Muhammad Lugga tried to reach him to intimidate him on the new development but to no avail.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
