Clean Foundation has organized a three day capacity training for stakeholders on early warning and response to some selected communities in Zamfara state.
Participants from four communities of Rijiya, Nahuche, Yashi and Bulunku have been selected for the capacity training.
The objective of the training is to build the capacity of the participants on how to report suspicious activities of the miscreant elements to the security agencies for action.
The program officer of Clean Foundation Mr. Ebere Mbeegbu said those that are selected from these communities and trained by the foundation are not going to be issued with any form of identity hence the suspects are not supposed to know who reported them to the security agencies.
He expressed optimism that at the end of the training, the beneficiaries are going to be equipped with the basic knowledge of how to report sensitive security matters of concern.
Some of the participants interviewed expressed appreciation to the Clean Foundation for the training saying the gains from the training are enormous.
