The Nigerian Labour Congress Zamfara State Chapter has declared that they are in receipt of 8000 complaints by various civil servants in respect of the refund of their un-remitted pension deduction.
Secretary of the union Bitrus D. Gyang made the declaration when he featured in a Thunder Blowers online TV programme on Sunday.
He said those with the complaints are either without updated records, wrong computer number, under-deduction amongst many other problems.
But he argued that despite a series of complaint against the remittance of the contributory funds 70% of the state civil servants under the state service have been paid their contribution and the labour union is working to access remittance for others who were cleared of their problems.
On the fate of the consultant employed for the purpose of the recovery of remitted pension funds Bitrus said, the union is working hand in hand with the office of the head of service to see how his services can be extended to enable him to recover more funds for those who were not paid.
He assured that all those who are yet to be settled will be settled since the union is working harder to get an end to the crises.
