A chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Zamfara Ahmad Abubakar Maradun has declared that with the merger of APC factional groups in Zamfara State, political victory is awaiting the party in 2023.
The politician who declared this in a telephone interview with the Thunder Blowers said, PDP is scary of the recent development in Zamfara APC since it is on record that it has never wins election in the political history of Zamfara State.
“They are used to taking advantage of political cracks within the ruling party and climb to power and that precedent will be broken soonest”.
Maradun urged the two political leaders of the APC Zamfara to fear Allah and sealed their personal interest for the party to resurface back.
He noted that since party leadership is for the people their interest should be protected through developing strategies that will further unite the party members to confront the ruling PDP in 2023.
He said the scenario of the 2019 election in Zamfara State should serve as a lesson for all the factions of the APC and hope the leaders will learn from their mistakes and forge ahead to leading the party to victory.
