Jama’atul Tajdidul Islam which is a popular religious group in Nigeria has declared its absolute solidarity to the administration and government of Bello Matawalle.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation the acting national chairman of the religious movement Malam Aminu Aliyu Gusau said, they have declared their solidarity to Governor Matawalle considering his giant effort in promoting Shariah legal practice as well strengthening of the state economic development agenda.
Responding, Governor Bello Matawalle took time to explain the effort himself and other like minds have put in making sure that Shariah has come to stay in Zamfara.
He noted that when he came in as Governor of Zamfara he makes sure that Shariah development agencies are given freedom to carry out their function without interference.
Matawalle said, his government is taking all measures that will prevent some heartless people from molesting the holy Qur’an.
The Governor urged Islamic clerics to continue to preach peace and enlighten the people on what will be done to bring a lasting development for Zamfara people.
He also thanked them for the solidarity visit and asked to continue to pray for the success of his administration.
