One of the political allies of former Governor of Zamfara State Abdulazeez Yari Abubakr Alh Sani Gwamna Mayanchi has challenged Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi to make public the telephone conversation where he and “Sarkin Fulani Chedi one of the leaders of bandits in Zamfara” were recorded having a conversation and plans to instigate act of banditry in the state.
Sani Gwamna was speaking exclusively to Thunder Blowers Online News Medium on Wednesday when he was contacted to speak on the allegation by Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi in Gusau.
He said if truly Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi is not out to deceive Zamfara people let him in the interest of the people of Zamfara make the telephone conversation public.
He said he has nothing to fear more or less an allegation coming from Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi whom he described as “mischieve maker who is all out to destroy the hard earned reputation of former Governor of Zamfara Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar and his political allies”.
“No reasonable person in Zamfara will take Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi serious considering his political precedence which many Zamfara people knows it’s a strategies he always used to extort money from the Governor of Zamfara state” he added.
“Don’t forget I was investigated by various security agencies including DIA on alleged role in aiding banditry and I have been cleared because I only played the role of mediator in ensuring a lasting peace in Zamfara. It is the highest sacrifice I can make for my state” Gwamna added.
On the allegations that he was paid money for the vehicles he has not procured, Gwamna challenged Wamban Shinkafi to come up with his facts and lodge a petition before any security outfits instead of resorting to media campaign.
It could be recalled that in a press conference in Gusau on Wednesday Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi alleged that, Sani Gwamna and biological brother of the former Governor Jafaru Dan Auta have been paid huge millions of naira in the name of payment of vehicles which they have not procured and delivered to the state.
