Suspected food poison has killed seven (7)members of same family as husband is left with the shock of the sudden death of his family
Eye witness Mohammed Musa told News men that the deceased family died on Wednesday after eating a food prepared with maize corn.
According to him,the deceased were said to have died of food poisoning, five of them are children and two were the house wives”.
He lamented that the incident occurred on Tuesday night when one among the late wives prepared corn food (tuwon masara),”after eating the food they started to develop stomach pains, three (3) died instantly while four 4 persons were rushed to General Hospital Bungudu where the also died”.
While at Bungudu General Hospital,it was confirmed by the Doctor on duty that the deceased died of food poisoning.
Meanwhile, the husband of the deceased family, Mallam Hassan lawali who was away when wife finished the meal escaped the death for not eating the food.
It was gathered that Mallam Hassan have now gone mentally ill as all his two wives and five children had perished as a result of food poisoning.
It was further gathered that the husband cauld neither speak nor eat as at the time of filing this report.
