Govenor Aminu Bello Masari has declared that government has admittedly failed people especially with the promises they made to protect the lives and properties of the citizens.
The Governor who speaks in the weekend while interacting with the media noted that, he cannot look at the victims of these merciless bandits attacks in his state and talk to them because government has failed them in terms of securing their lives and properties.
He noted that, government has done everything possible including opening up for dialogue with the bandits but unfortunately they have not seen wisdom in surrendering for peace.
Masari noted that, the security situation they met in Nigeria was per better than what is obtained now because the tragedy has now spread all over the North.
It could be recall that within the last week alone over 70 persons have been killed in some separate attacks on Katsina community including a traditional ruler in Matazu.
