The Provost of the Federal College of Education Technical Gusau Dr. Umar Bello has denied the rumor going around the public that, the purported letter of threat sent to the college was written by the college security operatives to protest non-payment of their six months salary.
Dr. Umar who made the declaration In an exclusive interview with Thunder Blowers on Wednesday said, the college has settled the backlog of salary of the college security before the discovery of the letter.
He said his security operatives have no connection with the letter, noting that such rumor is unfounded.
He also said because of the measures put in place since the discovery of the letter, they have not received any complaint either from the parents or even the students who are residing within the college.
He assured that with the security measures put in place and response by the security operatives, there would be no cause for alarm.
