FCET GUSAU LETTER OF THREAT: NSCDC DEPLOYS ADEQUATE UNIFORM AND UNDER-COVER PERSONALS
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corp Zamfara State has deployed adequate number of uniform and under-cover personal to take charge of the security of the Federal College of Education Technical Gusau as a result of the purported letter of threat written to the college by some unknown bandits.
The Spokesperson of the Corp in Zamfara Aminu Maru who stated this exclusively to Thunder Blowers said, the State Commandant Mr. Akushie Anthanasius also conducted regular visit of the college beside adequate number of the NSCDC personals deployed permanently to ensure security and safety of the students.
Maru said the Commandant also instructed the head of Counterterrorism Unit (CTU) to take charge of the monitoring of the college, especially some important strategic places that may be a window for the bandits.
He also said the commandant has deployed an adequate number of under-cover personals who are to tap intelligence about the happening within the college and feed the command for further action.
He also explained that the commandant had advised the college to provide adequate number of observation towers so that effective monitoring of flash points can be done.
