The Zamfara state commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp A. A. Sparks has charged operators of private guard companies to strengthen partnership with other security agencies with a view to enhancing intelligent gathering.

He spoke during a ceremony to mark the passing out parade of “Course E” trainees of about (15) private guard companies (PGC) on Friday in Gusau the state capital.

He advised the graduants to take advantage of their training and skills they have acquired in contributing their quota toward fighting criminal elements in the state.

The commandant assured that, since one of the cardinal mandate of the Corp is to ensure effective monitoring and supervision of the activities of the private guard operators, his command would remain committed toward discharging that responsibility.

The ceremony was well attended by the State Chairman of the Private Guard Companies Alh Lawal Abdullahi Makama, representative of the participating private guard companies, and senior officers and men of the Corp.
