Operatives of Zamfara Hisbah Commission led by their Chairman Mal. Ashabu Zauma have met with the officials of (Tricycle) Keke Napep operators and discuss critical issues related to their mode of operation.
Issues that were reviewed included banning the use of music by the tricycle operators, and conveying more than three passengers.
Other mode of operation banned during the meeting included carrying a non passenger should to shoulder with the tricycle driver, and speed race with bride relations during wedding ceremonies.
The meeting also banned the use of non-corporate dress by the operators, use of three-quarter trousers and drinking toxic substances while driving.
The officials of the tricycle operators commended the management of the commission for their constant engagement with stakeholders and urged them to sustain the initiative
