Governor Bello Matawalle has described the demise of Alh Aliyu Ibrahim Kaura as a great loss to the entire people of the state.
According to the statement by the Governor’s press secretary Malam Jamilu Idris Gusau said the Governor made the statement in a condolence message to the families.
Governor Bello Matawalle said he received the news of the demise of the elder statesman, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Kaura with shock, saying the death is a great loss to the people and Government of Zamfara State.
The Matawallen Maradun who extolled the remarkable virtues of late Aliyu Ibrahim Kaura, said his positions as one of the pioneer Director Generals and Permanent Secretaries in the state have contributed immensely to the development of the state civil service.
He described the deceased as a true illustrious son of Zamfara State who distinguished himself creditably in his career as a civil servant, politician and later a business merchant.
The Governor, who condoled with the immediate family members, relatives, friends, and associates of the deceased, urged them to take solace in the fact that the deceased left behind good records and lasting imprints that will continue to linger in the hearts of the people of Zamfara State.
Governor Bello Matawalle also extended his condolences to Kaura Namoda Emirate council, Kaura Namoda local government and the entire people of the state over the great loss.
Late Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Marafan Kaura Namoda died yesterday at the Age of 80 years and is survived by two wives, twenty-five children and many Grand children.
