The custom officer reportedly abducted by some suspected gunmen in Tsafe on Friday Mr. Mahasam Awal has regained his freedom last night.
He was released after payment of an undisclosed amount of money as ransom, a family source discloses.
He has been rushed to a health facility in Gusau the state capital of Zamfara for clinical examination.
