ANOTHER MEMBER OF ZAMFARA NBA KILLED BY BANDITS IN ZAMFARA

Some suspected bandits armed with deadly weapons had gruesomely murderer one of the members of the Nigerian Barr. Association Gusau Branch Barr. Ahmad Muhammad Abubakar Esq.

According to an official release by the Chairman of the NBA Gusau Branch Barr. Junaidu Abubakar Barr. Ahmad Kwatarkwashi was killed when bandits attacked his private residence along Mada Road in Kwatarkwashi Emirate council of Zamfara state.

“According to information we received, the murderers stormed his residence at about 0015hrs of today where they intercepted and attacked his wife whom they asked of her husband’s whereabouts and refused to tell them; they started beating her mercilessly, and she screamed”.

“On hearing his wife screaming, he (Ahmed Esq.) opened his door and came out. While coming out, the killers attacked him with machete and dragged him to the back of his house and inflicted machete cuts on his body which resulted in his death, after which they left him dead in cold blood and fled” the statement added.

Ahmed’s funeral prayer was preformed on Wednesday (today) at 0900 hrs at Kotorkoshi town in accordance with Islamic rights.

The Chairman further stated that, Ahmad was a good person, an active member of the branch, a humble and an easygoing person.

He was survived by two (2) wives, children, and others.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
