MANAGER NEWS NTA, UNIVERSITY LECTURER AMONG NEWLY APPOINTED MEDIA AIDES OF GOV. DAUDA LAWAL

Governor Dauda Lawal has redeployed and transferred some key veterans to man the affairs of some media establishments in the state.

According to the statement by one of the Governor’s media aides, Mustapha Jafar Kaura, Rufai Muhammed Anka formerly Director News at Zamfara Radio is now elevated to the status of Managing Director Zamfara Radio and Television Services.

The statement added that, Mal. Sani Ahmad Tsafe is now the new Managing Director of Legacy Newspaper, Hasaana Muhammad Bukkuyum is to head the state Censorship Board while Mal. Adamu Sani Katuru is to head the state government printing press.

Former Managing Director of Legacy Newspaper, Mal. Iliyasu Idris Gusau is now the Director of Information at the state Ministry of Information, Muazu Muhammad Bela heads Zamfara AM Radio while Mustapha Rabi’u Bakura is to head the Gold City FM as the new General Manager.

The statement further states that, Sani Aliyu Gusau is the new General Manager of Zamfara state Television station, Malam Yakubu Yahaya Mafara is to serve as the Secretary of the Council of Ulama, Shehu Adamu Gusau Press Secretary office of the Deputy Governor while Nasiru Aula Dabbakal is to serve as Press Secretary office of the SSG.

A University lecturer Sani Ahmad Sambo and Manager News Nigeria Television Authority Gusau Zahra Musa are to serve as Master of the Ceremony and Press Secretary office of the Governor and that of the First Lady respectively.

The statement also reported that, Mal. Bello Madaro Kurya is to serve as the Press Secretary State House of Assembly while Farida Abdulkarim is to serve as Master of the Ceremony office of the First Lady.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
