Zamfara State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress APC has expressed worries over the recent abduction of over 300 female students at Government Girls Secondary School Jangebe on Friday.
State Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the party Lawal M. Liman who stated this via a press statement on Saturday described the abduction as barbaric and inhuman which the party condemned in its entirety.
Kaura said the abduction in Jange is capable of taking Zamfara back to the dark age where lives do not matter anymore.
He described as an act of sadism subjecting the underage children abducted to unnecessary psychological trauma by the heartless bandits saying, the government and indeed security agencies needed to do what is necessary by hastening the rescue of the abducted school girls.
“The Party is therefore in this trying moments join Government and People of Zamfara State, parents, guardians in mourning the unfortunate happening, while calling on the Government and security agencies to as a matter of discharging public responsibility ensure speedy and safe rescue of these innocent Students” Kaura added.
