Zamafara State Director General Public Enlightenment and Media Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau has threatened that the opposition All Progressive Congress APC in Zamfara does not have the political popularity of winning up to 20% of the total votes of the scheduled Bakura Council bye election come December 5th 2020.
Malam Yusuf Idris who made the declaration during a TV show programme of Thunder Blowers Online TV DA-WACHE-KAZO said, he has not seen any thing special or unique about APC or Dankande Gamji its candidate for the scheduled bye election hence Bakura people have already decided to go the path of the PDP.
He denied that, PDP is facilitating the defection of Bello Dankade from the APC saying, such rumors are being mongered to derailed the public from understanding that APC is already scared of the Bakura bye election day.
He noted that it sounds irrational for someone to believed that PPD is eying Bello Dankande Gamji with an appointment of Commissioner and 100 million naira simply for him to defect from his party as a candidate sponsored for a bye election contest saying, the politician is not worth that special political consideration.
He described the recent utterence by Aminu Jaji a Chieftain of the APC in Zamfara confirming such a rumor as childish noting that it is unfortunate and unexpected of a personality like Aminu Jaji.
