BREAKING: GOV. BELLO MATAWALLE REMOVES SPECIAL ADVISER OVER INCOMPETENCY.

Governor Bello Matawalle has approved the termination of appointment of Kabiru Sahabi Liman as Special Adviser in his government.

According to the statement by the Secretary to the State government Kabiru Balarabe, the Special Adviser Mr. Liman was removed from office followed a monitoring exercise conducted by the government which exposed Kabiru Sahabi as incompetent in handling his official assignment.

“This follows a close monitoring exercise which revealed, among other things, that he is grossly incompetent to undertake the responsibilities and public thrust associated with the exalted position of a Special Adviser”.

According to the statement, “the monitoring exercise would be a continuous exercise that is aimed at reinvigorating public service delivery; ensuring public trust; and facilitating good governance in the State”.

It could be recalled that Mr. Kabiru Sahabi served as Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning as well as Special Adviser in various MDA’s in the government of Mahmuda Shinkafi and that Abdul Aziz Yari.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
