The Spokesperson of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa Bello Bakyasuwa Maradun has also denied that, none of their supporters from Bungudu has defected to the ruling PDP in the state.

Bakyasuwa who spoke through the Managing Editor of this medium said, what happened on Saturday where PDP Chairman took Comrade Danda Bungudu and few others to Governor Matawalle as defectors speaks volumes about the confusion in the ruling PDP.

“None of our supporters from Bungudu have defected to the ruling PDP and our people in Bungudu have confirmed to us that Danda Bungudu and his co-travellers are bona fide members of the PDP”.

“Zamfara PDP is scared of Senator Marafa that is why anywhere they want to play their defection game you will hear them saying we have received defectors from Senator Marafa camp. We are ready to teach them politics if they do not know how to play it”.

Bakyasuwa who expressed concern with what he described as “game of deceit” said PDP leaders in the state have been using hiding under the game of defection to be misleading the Governor noting that 90% of those they took to the Governor are existing members of the party.

“Commissioner for Local Government does the same thing last time when he assembled PDP supporters in Gora village and declared them as defectors, and it was a laughing matter amongst the residents of the area” Bakyasuwa added.

He said the Governor need to put a stop to that childish game and play politics according to the code of ethics saying Senator Marafa and indeed Zamfara APC are more alive and would continue to win the heart of the majority people of Zamfara State.
