FMR. GOV YARI FAILS TO DECLARE 2 BILLION NAIRA BUSINESS GRANT TO ZAMFARA PEOPLE

One of the five former lawmakers that defected to the ruling PDP in Zamfara State Alh Abdullahi Muhammad Dansadau has declared that, they have defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party because they are convinced that, Governor Matawalle is doing his best to transform the state.


The former lawmaker who declared this  exclusively to Thunder Blowers Online News Medium said, the current Governor has done well in securing the  people and is doing his best to restore peace in the state.

He noted that, even while in the opposition anytime there is security challenge along his Dansadau constituency he usually chart with the Governor and intimate him of the development and the Governor always respond whenever there is need for it.

On why they abandoned their former principal Governor Yari Dansadau noted that, even when they were in power as lawmakers they don’t have access to the former Governor not to talk of advising him on the right things to do a situation which he said has rendered them useless.

He also alleged that, the former Governor is not always concern about the plight of his people especially that, he failed to explain the where about of the 1 billion naira agricultural intervention meant for farmers of Zamfara State during his tenure as Governor of Zamfara State noting that, the loan was facilitated and disbursed through Zenith Bank Plc.

He alleged further that, the Governor has failed to also account for the where about of 2 billion naira intervention to business people in the state  which members of the state assembly has approved to him and the money was released.

The former lawmaker explained that they have decided to embark on unconditional defection in appreciation of what the current Governor is doing adding that, unless the Governor decided to offer them appointments, they are not defecting for anything in returns.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
