Former Governor Abdulaziz Yari has attended a welcome home rally organized in his honor by the supporters of the APC from Zamfara West Senatorial District.
He was received on arrival at the Sultan Abubakar (111) International Airport Sokoto by APC Power brokers in Zmafara where he was drove through Sokoto-Zamfara highway to Talatar Mafara Stadium, the venue of the event.
Former Governor Yari who expressed appreciation for the reception accorded him, assured that more activities will be organized to enable supporters of the APC to see and believe in the party project.
He debunked the rumor making round the public that people who may wish to vote for him as Senator must not vote for other candidates of the party, especially the gubernatorial candidate, noting that such message of disunity was never from him.
“I urged you to vote for APC candidates across all levels and soonest I will organize a statewide rally to widen the message of unity within the party”.
He urged the APC supporters to continue to work for the success of the party in the 2023 election and assured them that soonest he will organize a statewide rally with a view to reaching out to teeming supporters and well-wishers.
