FMR. ZAMFARA APC CHAIR LIMAN HAILS TINUBU FOR THE CHOICE OF BELLO MATAWALLE AS MINISTER.

Former Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Zamfara Lawal M. Liman has commended President Bola Ahmad Tinubu for considering fmr. Governor Bello Matawalle worthy of appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Liman in a statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Abuja described the nomination of Bello Matawalle as a perfect decision which strengthen the hope of the APC supporters in Zamfara state.

He stated that the coming together of Sen. Yari and former Governor Matawalle has made APC stronger and that despite the political inconsistency that marred the conduct of the 2023 election, APC remains the most popular party to reckoned with.

“By the statement of Sen. Yari today when he paid a congratulatory visit to Matawalle one will not be in doubt that APC in Zamfara remains the winning party and that its stolen mandate will surely be returned through the part of justice as aptly stated by Yari”.

“We the APC members in Zamfara would remain grateful to Sen. Yari and Bello Matawalle for their choice of political unity which made the party stronger and more united”.

“His remarks about the political maturity of Yari today is a testimony of the APC, and its pathway to success, and we would remain loyal to the leadership of the duo at all time”.

“I wish Bello Matawalle the best of luck and urge him to justify the confidence reposed in him by making Zamfara people proud in his new national assignment”.

“We are hopeful and confident that the choice of former Governor Matawalle as Minister will never be regretted by Tinubu and indeed the APC” Liman added.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
