An estimated (1000) patients suffering from various ailments have benefited from a free medical outreach programme of former Governor of Zamfara Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar in Talatar Mafara local government area of Zamfara state.
This was disclosed by a physiotherapist Drm Yemi Eseymi who doubled as the team lead for the programme.
The programme also has a component of mobile clinic where patients with critical ailments especially the one that relate to Musculoskeletal ailment.
According to him, the mobile clinic provides medical support for people suffering from Back pain, Neck pain, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Fractures (Post – Op), O & G and Paediatrics cases.
He said, cases beyond the scope of the mobile clinic are referred to appropriate channels for better management.
“We offer most general medical awareness services to people, especially those we observed are with several cases and suffer negligence” he added.
