GOV. BELLO MATAWALLE CONDOLES ZAMFARA FORMER CHIEF OF STAFF

Governor Bello Matawalle has sent a powerful delegation to condole with Zamfara former Chief of Staff Musa Zubairu over the death of his mother Hajiya Maryam Zubairu.

The delegation was led by Secretary to Zamfara State Government Kabiru Balarabe Dan-Isah and the Governor asked the family of the decease to accept her death with good fate and continue to pray for the repose of her soul.

The Secretary to the state government and other members delegation were received by Hon Musa Zubairu himself along with his family members in his Gusau residence today Friday.

According to a statement by the Press Secretary to the SSG Malam Idris Salish said Governor Matawalle was sad when he received the news of the death of Hajiya Maryam.

He described the decease as a highly disciplined and honest mother who trained her children on the path of Allah and the need to assist one other.

He described her death as painful, saying the memory of her good deeds would forever be remembered not only among people of Nasarawar Mailayi, Birnin Magaji in particular but Zamfara as a whole.

The Governor prayed Almighty Allah to reward her soul with Jannatul firdaus and give her family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Responding on behalf of the family Musa Zubairu Nasarawar Mailayi, thanked Governor Matawalle and the delegation, saying he was overwhelmed with the level of personalities that made up of the state government delegation

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
