GOV.BELLO MATAWALLE LEADS DELEGATION OF ZAMFARA FMR. GOVERNORS AND TOP PARTY CHIEFTAINS TO PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN INAUGURATION IN PLATEAU STATE

Governor Bello Matawalle has led the state delegation of All Progressives Congress to the APC inaugural campaign rally of its Presidential candidate Sen. Bola Ahmad Tinubu and his running mate Sen. Kashim Shatima in Jos.

Among the Governor’s delegation were former Governor Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Sen. Kabiru Garba ,State APC Chairman Hon.Tukur Umar Danfulani and many other top government officials as well as political power brokers in the state APC.

The Governor on arrival at Jos the headquarters of Plateau State joined President Muhammad Buhari, former Governor Bola Ahmad Tinubu and rest of the state Governors from the APC to the venue of the event.

Stakeholders at the flag off the campaign rally includes President Muhammad Buhari who expressed confidence that with the crowd they saw in jos, APC is still alive, and it is gathering momentum toward delivering Tinubu and Kashim Shatima as the Nigeria’s President and Vice President respectively.

The Coordinator of Tinubu campaign Council in charge of North West Governor Bello Matawalle expressed happiness with the mammoth crowd that gathered in Jos the Plateau state capital to honor the APC and its Presidential candidates noting that the show of force demonstrated by the APC supporters in Jos is surely a morale boost for the party stakeholders to further strengthen their confidence in winning the 2023 election.

Talking specifically about the North West Governor Matawalle said, the region is a home base for the APC assuring that the party will see wonders with the mass mobilization of voters that are to be made by stakeholders under his leadership.

He noted that. The giant stride was made by the APC under President Muhammad Buhari and indeed all the APC Governors in Nigeria, APC will surely be rewarded with massive votes as demonstrated in 2015 and 2019 respectively.

He thanked all those that find out time to attend the inaugural campaign of the APC and wished them journey mercy back to their respective destinations.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
