Governor Bello Matawalle has urged the Appellate Court to kindly allow the appeal filed by Dauda Lawal and PDP so that they can be allowed to participate in the 2023 poll.
Matawalle who stated this in Bungudu during a campaign rally insisted that APC has nothing to fear in terms of political popularity, noting that, the overwhelming support enjoyed by the party across all boards is a clear indicator that the party is on the winning site.
Matawalle further stated that though the court case instituted by some PDP aspirants is a clear reflection of the party’s failure to uphold the virtues of internal party democracy, APC is awaiting the party’s victory in court so that they can participate in the 2023 election and be made to understand that their party remain the most un popular in Zamfara state.
“APC is on the ground in Zamfara , and you can see for yourself the mammoth crowd that usually congregated to welcome the APC campaign train every where we go, this is couple with the powerful political actors that are working tirelessly to ensure the success of the party. The development is evident that APC will win the 2023 elections with overwhelming majority”.
“I wish the Appeal Court will allow the PDP Appeal to succeed so that their Gubernatorial candidate will be thought the bitter political lessons of his life”.
“God willing we shall defeat PDP hands down and 2023 will be the terminal for the party because the vote that will be secured by the APC will be a massive vote that will be celebrated ever”.
