Suspected bandits armed with deadly weapons have invaded Nahuche district in Bungudu local government area of Zamfara State at the early hours of Friday, killed two persons and abducted four others.
A source who spoke to Thunder Blowers said among those killed was a mobile police officer and a local vigilante leader.
Two women and two male genders have been abducted by the bandits in the operation.
He said the bandits first invaded a nearby village of Nahuche called Gidan Jan Bula and used motorcycles to brutally murdered the vigilante leader of the village after resisting many gunshots.
They also whisked away his wife and move her for captivity.
They later invaded Nahuche police station where they engaged the police mobile in a fire exchange and eventually killed a mobile police officer.
The source added they then moved to invade the house of Alh Makwashe Nhuche a business mogul where they abducted two other persons including a woman.
He said they came to the village around 3:00am of Friday and left after 4:00am.
Police Spokesperson for Zamfara SP Shehu Muhammad could not be reached for comment.
