A federal lawmaker representing Gusau and Tsafe Kabiru Amadu Maipalace has advised Sen. Ahmad Rufai Sani and former Governor Abdulazeez Yari to retire from active politics and allow the emerging youth to take over the political activities of Zamfara State.
The federal lawmakers who handed down the advice when he featured in a Thunder Blowers TV show “Dawache Kazo” said it was rather unfortunate that the two political figures and their supporters are exchanging derogatory words against another for reasons of their thirsty for power and political control.
He said as politician he has never sat one-on-one with either Yari or Yarima, but they knew basically why they are fighting themselves and whatever was the reason the lawmaker said their actions is reducing their status.
Kabiru Amadu said former Governor Abdulazeez Yari should have taken time to remember the good days and what Yarima has done to transform his life like wise he said Yarima should have done the same since Yari loyalists have insisted that he has done multiple of good things for him.
He added “if the duo of Yarima and Yari can listen to my advice they should all retire from politics and give room for productive youths to take over the mantle of leadership and contributed their quota to the development of the state”.
