Supporters of the People’s Democratic Party loyal to member Federal House of Representatives Kabiru Yahaya Classic have paid a sympathy visit to former Governor of Zamfara State Abdulazeez Yari in his country home Talatar Mafara.
Leader of the delegation who doubled as the PDP state treasurer Usama Maharazu Mafara said the purpose of the visit is to sympathize with the former Governor over the recent injury he sustained on one of his legs.
He said despite political differences, they feel they have the moral obligation to visit the former Governor being him an indigene of Talatar Mafara and commiserate with him.
They prayed for God almighty to grant the former Governor quick recovery.
In his response, the former Governor thanked the delegation for the visit, describing it as friendly.
He said when it comes to extending a hand of relationship, politics does not matter more, saying there is time for everything.
