Members of Zamfara State House of Assembly have successfully screened three nominees for the post of Commissioners and members of the state executive council.
Those screened include the former Special Adviser to Governor Abdulazeez Yari on Public Enlightenment Malam Ibrahim Magaji Dosara, former Special Adviser to Governor Bello Matawalle on High Education Abdullahi Muhammad Gurbin Bore and former Special Adviser to Governor Yari on Students Matters Aliyu Muhammad Tukur Mafara.
According to the statement by the house spokesperson Mustafa Jafaru Kaura said the nominees were screened in accordance with the provision of section 192 (1) and (2) of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 as (amended)
He further said the house had also screened and confirmed the nomination of Members of the newly established Bureau for Public Procurement with two members Alhaji Usman Abdullahi Furfuri and Alhaji Hamisu Danjibga representing NUJ zamfara state chapter in absentia.
