Bello Muhammad Matawalle the former Governor of Zamfara and Minister of State Defense has arrived Gusau the State capital on Friday for a Christmas break.
The Minister who arrived Gusau through Katsina border, Yankara was received by his teeming supporters.
His visit to Gusau was the first since he lost his re-election bid to the incumbent Governor Dauda Lawal during the 2023 elections.
After passing through inner part of the capital city, the Minister State for Defense retired to his private resident in Gusau where he addressed his teeming supporters.
He stated that his visit is purely to come and interface with his teeming supporters listen to them and see what he can do to continue to supporting them.
Before his arrival in Gusau the Minister has paid a condolence visit to the family of one of his political associates, Usman Dankalili Bakura who lost his mother on Thursday in Kaduna.
He was accompanied to the State visit by the State party chairman Tukur Umar Danfulani, his Special Adviser Political Ibrahim Mai Gandi Dan Malikin Gidan Goga and host of other political allies.
The Minister is expected to move to Maradun his country home, after spending some days at Gusau.
